Kepong Sentral Komuter Station
The Kepong Sentral Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located in Kepong, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. The station is the newest addition to the KTM Komuter system, which opened on 1 July 2006. Situated just beside this station is the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). Starting on 1 December 2008, it became one of the stations of the Sentral KL-Ipoh-Sentral KL intercity route. However, it was ceased in August 2010 and replaced by the KTM ETS services. The Kepong Sentral Komuter station was built to cater to the traffic in Kepong, a suburban area. The Kepong Komuter station, which also serves the same locality is located 1 km away. The MRT Putrajaya line will be connected to this station, and is currently under construction. The station will be named Sri Damansara Timur opened in June 2022. Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2
Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2 or Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 Scheme), Federal Route 28, is a ring road built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to connect neighborhoods near the boundary of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Altogether, the of the entire system consists of Federal Route 28, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (from Sri Damansara Interchange to Sunway Interchange) and Shah Alam Expressway (from Sunway Interchange to Sri Petaling Interchange). However, the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 is generally referred to as Route 28 since Route 28 occupies about two-thirds of the system. Bandar Sri Damansara is a residential township in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. The MRT Putrajaya Line is the second Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Klang Valley, Malaysia, and the third fully automated and driverless rail system in region. KTM Intercity ( ms, KTM Antarabandar) are diesel-hauled intercity train services in Peninsular Malaysia, operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).
