Naftali Bon
Naftali Bon (9 October 1945 – 2 November 2018) was a Kenyan athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres. He was born in Kapsabet, Rift Valley Province. He competed for Kenya in the 1968 Summer Olympics held in Mexico City in the 4 x 400 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his teammates Daniel Rudisha, Munyoro Nyamau and Charles Asati. John Harun Mwau
John Harun Mwau (born 24 June 1948) is a Kenyan businessman and politician. He is the former Member of Parliament for Kilome Constituency. He was the first director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Authority but was removed after a year when a tribunal ruled that he was unfit to hold the office. Harun Mwau is the founding chairman Party of Independent Candidates of Kenya (PICK) and ran as a Presidential Candidate in the 1992 Kenyan general election. Mwau polled 10,449 votes and later petitioned the High Court to declare him the only validly nominated candidate, as other candidates did not present the list of supporters nominating them using the correct paper size. The mixed (or "open") ISSF 25 meter rapid fire pistol was a shooting sports event held as part of the Shooting at the 1968 Summer Olympics programme. It was the 13th appearance of the event. The competition was held on 22 to 23 October 1968 at the Vicente Suárez Shooting Range in Mexico City. 56 shooters from 34 nations competed. Nations had been limited to two shooters each since the 1952 Games. The event was won by Józef Zapędzki of Poland, the nation's first medal in the event and the first of two victories of Zapędzki (who would repeat in 1972). Marcel Roșca's silver put Romania on the rapid fire pistol podium for the fourth time in five Games. Renart Suleymanov of the Soviet Union took bronze.
