Dorton (or Dourton) is a village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire. It is in the western part of the county, about north of the Oxfordshire market town of Thame. Manor The village Toponymy, toponym is derived from the Old English for "farm at a narrow pass". The Domesday Book of 1086 records it as ''Dortone'', and in the 13th century it was ''Durtone''.
