Kenny Gasana
Kenneth Gasana (born Kenneth Wilson; November 9, 1984) is a Rwandan professional basketball player who currently plays for Bangui Sporting Club of the Road to BAL. Born in the United States, he represents Rwanda internationally. Career Gasana played his final two years of college basketball for Boise State. Gasana started his professional career in 2007. In 2010, Gasana joined Moroccan club Chabab Rif Al Hoceima for one season which was followed by another season at Spaza Sports BC. In the 2014–15 season, he played in Egypt with Gezira. His third team in Morocco was Ittihad Tanger, which he joined in 2018. In 2019, Gasana signed with Rwanda-based REG BBC to play in the Rwandan National Basketball League. In October 2019, he joined the defending champions Patriots BBC. He went on to win the championship in 2019 and 2020 with Patriots. Rwanda National Basketball Team
Rwanda men's national basketball team is a basketball team that represents Rwanda in international competitions. It is administered by the Rwandan Basketball Federation (FERWABA) Rwanda has yet to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, but has qualified for the AfroBasket six times. Before 2000, Team Rwanda was virtually unknown to most basketball fans worldwide. Since the mid-2000s however, the team slowly but surely has made a name for itself. Team Rwanda has emerged as a major force in East Africa and has qualified for the AfroBasket, Africa's prime basketball event, four times in a row between 2007 and 2013. At the AfroBasket 2021 on home soil, Rwanda beat Angola, winner of ten AfroBasket editions between 1989 and 2013. The victory was cosidered an enourmous achievement of the national team.

American Basketball Association (2000–present)
The American Basketball Association (ABA) is an American semi-professional men's basketball minor league that was founded in 1999. The ABA has teams based in the United States and previously had international teams based in Canada and Mexico. In the past, there were traveling teams from countries such as Australia and Japan who played in the ABA. Additionally, there were players from other countries that were on a U.S. team to showcase other talented athletes in the country. FAP Basketball
Forces Armées et Police Basketball (), commonly known as simply FAP or FAP Yaoundé, is a basketball team based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. It is the basketball team of the Cameroonian armed forces and police. The team previously played in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and domestically plays the Elite Messieurs. FAP has won the national championship three times, the Cameroon Cup once, and the Central Region League Championship three times. 2022 BAL Playoffs
The 2022 BAL Playoffs was the second edition of the playoffs of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and was the concluding tournament of the 2022 BAL season. The playoffs began on 21 May 2022 and ended on 28 May 2022 with the Finals. For a second consecutive season, all playoffs games were played at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda. 2022 BAL Qualifying Tournaments
The qualification tournaments for the 2022 BAL season were the qualification rounds for the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The tournaments began on 19 October 2021 and ended 16 December 2021. The competition consisted out of two stages: the first round and the elite 16. Six teams advanced to the group phase of the BAL. 2021 BAL Season
The 2021 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, the BAL is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa, COVID-19 pandemic, the BAL held its inaugural season one year later as planned, with the season beginning in 2021.
