Kenny Boynton
Kenny Boynton Jr. (born May 12, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Tianjin Pioneers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the University of Florida. High school Boynton attended American Heritage School where he was a standout basketball player. In his senior season, Boynton averaged 33.0 points per game. He finished his high school career as the third-leading scorer in Florida high school basketball history. Kenny was also named to the 2009 McDonald's All-American Boys Game and the ''Parade'' All-America first team. College career In his first season at Florida, Boynton averaged 14 points per game and 2.7 assists per game. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. 2009 McDonald's All-American Boys Game
The 2009 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an All-star basketball game played on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida, home of the University of Miami Hurricanes. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly rated high school boys graduating in 2009. The game was the 32nd annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game, first played in 1978. The 48 players were selected from 2,500 nominees by a committee of basketball experts. They were chosen not only for their on-court skills but for their performances off the court as well. Coach Morgan Wootten, who had more than 1,200 wins as head basketball coach at DeMatha High School, was chairman of the selection committee. VTB United League
VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. Therefore, the highest placed Russian team in the league is also named list of Russian basketball champions, Russian national champions. The league is sponsored by Russian state-owned VTB Bank. Butler Bulldogs Men's Basketball
The Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. They play their home games at Hinkle Fieldhouse. History Butler competed as part of the Horizon League since its founding, and played basketball in other regional conferences before that, including the Missouri Valley Conference. In 2012 they left the Horizon League for the Atlantic 10 and the year after, moved to the Big East.
