Kenneth Charles Moore (May 11, 1917 – December 1, 2003) was an American football lineman. He played college football for the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats and appeared in seven or eight games for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He also had stints with the Cincinnati Bengals of the American Professional Football Association (APFA) and the Jersey City Giants of the American Association (AA). Early life and college career Moore was born on May 11, 1917, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He attended Washington Irving High School and was their only alumnus to play in the National Football League (NFL). He attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and began playing for the Bobcats as a freshman in 1935, lettering. He began as a center and also played defensive end as a sophomore in 1936. Kenneth Moore, Jr. (born February 19, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wake Forest. Moore was also a member of the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers and Sacramento Mountain Lions. Early years Moore played high school football at Butler High School in Matthews, North Carolina. Kenneth Moore II (born August 23, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Valdosta State Blazers football, Valdosta State, and signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2017. Early years Moore did not play football until his senior year at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia. He recorded 18 tackled gridiron, tackles, two interceptions, and two pass breakups in 2012. Kenneth Strath Moore (February 17, 1910 – December 8, 1981) was a Canadian ice hockey player who competed in the 1932 Winter Olympics. He was the first indigenous person to win an Olympic gold medal. Early life Moore was born in Balcarres, Saskatchewan. He was one of Canada's first indigenous Olympians and a member of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, although his parents were originally from Norway House Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba. Kenneth Clark Moore (December 1, 1943 – May 4, 2022) was an American Olympic road running athlete and journalist. He ran the marathon at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth at the latter. Early life Moore was born in Portland, Oregon, on December 1, 1943. He attended North Eugene High School in Eugene, Oregon. He went on to study at the University of Oregon, where he raced for the Oregon Ducks under coach Bill Bowerman. He received All-American honors on three occasions and was pivotal to the Ducks winning the team national championship at the 1964 and 1965 NCAA University Division Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
