Kenneth Grant (politician)
Kenneth Macdonald "Ken" Grant (September 1866 – 13 August 1922) was a telegraphist and member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly in Australia. Biography Grant was born in Geelong, Victoria, to parents William Grant and his wife Jessie (née McDonald) and attended Brisbane Normal School. He began his working life as a cadet in the Post and Telegraphs Department and became a telegraphist at the Rockhampton Post Office and Railway Traffic Office. Later on he was a director of the Blair Athol Land and Timber Co. and the principal of K.M. Grant and Co. Ltd. In his younger days he was a keen sportsman and president of the Central Queensland Rugby League, and a patron of the Rockhampton Jockey Club and the Rockhampton Bowls Club. Unmarried, he died from the complications of an attack of influenza in August 1922. His funeral proceeded from has Albion home to the Toowong Cemetery.

Sir Kenneth Lindsay Grant OBE (10 February 1899 – 23 January 1989) was a Trinidad and Tobago businessman, Test cricket umpire and cricket administrator. Life and career Lindsay Grant went to school at Queen's Royal College in Port of Spain and later had his university education in Canada. He played non- first-class cricket for South Trinidad in the Beaumont Cup from 1926 to 1939. He umpired one Test match, West Indies vs. England, in 1930. His younger brothers Jack and Rolph each captained the West Indies Test team in the 1930s. Grant served in both the First and the Second World War.'' Wisden'' 1990, pp. 1202–3. He took over the running of the family trading firm, T. Geddes Grant, in 1946 after his brother Fred died. He was a member of the West Indies Cricket Board of Control from 1959 to 1970. Kenneth Grant (18 March 1900 – 7 September 1959) was a Scottish Roman Catholic clergyman who served as the Bishop of Argyll and the Isles from 1945 to 1959. Born in Fort William, Scotland on 18 March 1900, he was educated at and St Peter's, Bearsden. He was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Glasgow on 24 April 1927, however served as curate in Benbecula 1927-1928. He returned to Glasgow and was curate of St Mary Immaculate, Pollokshaws 1928-1939. He was a forces chaplain from 1939-1945 and curate of St Joseph's, Clarkston 1945-1946. He was appointed the Bishop of the Diocese of Argyll and the Isles by the Holy See on 15 December 1945, and consecrated to the Episcopate on 27 February 1946. Kenneth Grant (born October 27, 2003) is an American football defensive tackle for the Michigan Wolverines. In 2023, he earned All-Big Ten honors and won the national championship. Early life Grant was born in 2003 in Merrillville, Indiana, the son of Kenneth Grant Sr. and Ewana Chatman. He attended Merrillville High School, where he played football as an offensive and defensive lineman. He also competed in the shot put for the track and field team. As a senior, he totaled 38 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and blocked 8 kicks (four field goal attempts, two punts, and two extra point attempts), helping lead Merrillville to an undefeated regular season and a 12-1 overall record.
