Kenneth McAlpin
Kenneth MacAlpin ( mga, Cináed mac Ailpin, label=Medieval Gaelic, gd, Coinneach mac Ailpein, label=Modern Scottish Gaelic; 810 – 13 February 858) or Kenneth I was King of Dál Riada (841–850), King of the Picts (843–858), and the King of Alba (843–858) of likely Gaelic origin. He inherited the throne of Dál Riada from his father Alpín mac Echdach, founder of the Alpínid dynasty. Kenneth I conquered the kingdom of the Picts in 843–850 and began a campaign to seize all of Scotland and assimilate the Picts, for which he was posthumously nicknamed ''An Ferbasach'' ("The Conqueror"). Forteviot became the capital of his kingdom, and he also fought the Britons of the Kingdom of Strathclyde and the invading Vikings from Scandinavia. Cenydd
Saint Cenydd (Modern cy, Cennydd; french: Kinède;   century), sometimes anglicised as Saint Kenneth, was a Christian hermit on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, where he is credited with the foundation of the church at Llangennith. In Brittany, he is chiefly associated with Languidic, but there is a chapel (Saint-Quidy) dedicated to him in Ploumelin or, with more modern spelling, Plumelin - not to be confused with Plomelin which is also in Brittany. Legend Liturgical calendars and place-name evidence suggest the historical existence of Cenydd. His legend, however, is too late and too obviously derivative to be relied upon. Kenneth Bainbridge
Kenneth Tompkins Bainbridge (July 27, 1904 – July 14, 1996) was an American physicist at Harvard University who did work on cyclotron research. His precise measurements of mass differences between nuclear isotopes allowed him to confirm Albert Einstein's mass–energy equivalence concept. He was the Director of the Manhattan Project's Trinity nuclear test, which took place July 16, 1945. Bainbridge described the Trinity explosion as a "foul and awesome display". He remarked to J. Robert Oppenheimer immediately after the test, "Now we are all sons of bitches." This marked the beginning of his dedication to ending the testing of nuclear weapons and to efforts to maintain civilian control of future developments in that field. Kenneth Bager
Kenneth Bager (born March 6, 1962) is a Danish musician and record producer. History Bager started his musical career back in the mid 1980s as a DJ. In 1994, he released a compilation called "Music for Dreams" featuring, among others, Peter Gabriel and Michael Nyman. Kenneth received his breakthrough with the release of his critically acclaimed debut album "Fragments From A Space Cadet" in 2006, for which he received the Danish Statens Kunstfond award. Nobel Memorial Prize In Economics
The Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, officially the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel ( sv, Sveriges riksbanks pris i ekonomisk vetenskap till Alfred Nobels minne), is an economics award administered by the Nobel Foundation. Kenneth Joseph Arrow (23 August 1921 – 21 February 2017) was an American economist, mathematician, writer, and political theorist. He was the joint winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with John Hicks in 1972. In economics, he was a major figure in post-World War II neo-classical economic theory. Many of his former graduate students have gone on to win the Nobel Memorial Prize themselves. Kenneth Amis
Kenneth Amis (born 1970) is a Bermudian tuba player best known for his association with the Empire Brass. He is also the assistant conductor of the MIT Wind Ensemble, a group he has been involved with since its creation in 1999. In addition, as of 2005, Amis is an Affiliated Artist of MIT. He was born and raised in Bermuda. He began studying at Boston University at age 16. After that, he earned a master's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. Amis held the International Brass Chair at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He teaches at Lynn University. Amis is the first known person to transcribe Bach's Art of Fugue for wind ensemble (all of the fugues and canons). He currently resides in Norwood, Massachusetts. Kenneth Alwyn (born Kenneth Alwyn Wetherell) (28 July 1925 – 10 December 2020) was a British conductor, composer, and writer. Described by BBC Radio 3 as "one of the great British musical directors", Alwyn was known for his many recordings, including with the London Symphony Orchestra on Decca's first stereophonic recording of Tchaikovsky's ''1812 Overture''.
