Kenneth Cope (musician)
Kenneth Cope (born June 12, 1961) is an American composer and performer of religious music geared towards Latter-day Saints. His first album, ''Heaven — Don't Miss It For The World'', was released in 1988. His twelfth album, ''All About You'', was released in March 2008. His album, ''Son of Man'', was released in 2018. Cope lived in Houston, Texas, during his high school years and attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He has been closely associated with the music of Especially for Youth (EFY), with seven EFY albums having songs he composed. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland and France from 1980 to 1982. Orem, Utah
Orem is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, in the northern part of the state. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is approximately south of Salt Lake City. Orem is one of the principal cities of the Provo-Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Utah and Juab counties. The 2020 population was 98,129, while the 2010 population was 88,328 making it the fifth-largest city in Utah. Utah Valley University is located in Orem. Bishop (Latter Day Saints)
In the Latter Day Saint movement, a bishop is the highest office of the Aaronic priesthood. It is almost always held by one who holds the office of high priest in the Melchizedek priesthood. The Latter Day Saint concept of the office differs significantly from the role of bishops in other Christian denominations, being in some respects more analogous to a pastor or parish priest. Each bishop serves with two counselors, who together form a bishopric. The role of a bishop varies in the different Latter Day Saint denominations; however, they derive from a common history.
