Kendall Langford
Kendall Arkel Langford (born January 27, 1986) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football at Hampton, and was drafted by the Dolphins in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has also played for the St. Louis Rams, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, and Houston Texans. Early years Langford attended and played high school football at Petersburg (Va.) High School. He was earned First-team All-District honors as a junior in 2002, as well as First-team All-District, Second-team All-Metro, and Second-team All-Region honors as a senior. College career After high school, Langford attended and played college football at Hampton University, where he was a four-year letterman from 2004 to 2007. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. It ranks among the most popular interscholastic sports in both countries, but its popularity is declining, partly due to risk of injury, particularly concussions. The Detroit Lions are a professional American football team based in Detroit. The 2008 Senior Bowl was a college football exhibition game featuring players from the 2007 college football season and prospects in the 2008 NFL Draft. The 59th edition of the Senior Bowl was played on January 26, 2008, at 3 p.m. EST at Ladd–Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. In American football, a touchdown is worth six points and is followed by an extra point or two-point conversion attempt. All-America
The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention.
