Kendall Gender
Kendall Gender is the stage name of Kenneth Wyse (born 16 July 1990), a Canadian drag performer most known for competing on season 2 of '' Canada's Drag Race'' in 2021. She returned to compete in '' Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. the World'' in 2022. Early life Wyse was raised in Richmond, British Columbia. He graduated from Henry James Cambie Secondary School in 2008 before attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Career Wyse chose the drag name Kendall Gender as a reference to reality television personality Kendall Jenner, although for the Snatch Game episode of ''Canada's Drag Race'', she chose to impersonate Kris Jenner. Her first time in drag was in 2014, where she performed Beyonce's " Ring the Alarm". Kendall Gender won the Vancouver's Next Drag Superstar competition in 2017. RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." Gia Metric (born April 16, 1992) is the stage name of Giorgio Triberio, a Canadian drag performer most known for competing on the second season of ''Canada's Drag Race''. Early life Triberio was born in Toronto, Ontario. Career Gia Metric began her drag career in Toronto. By 2018, she was performing at The Junction's weekly drag showcase in Vancouver, along with Kendall Gender and Synthia Kiss. She was named Vancouver's Entertainer of the Year in 2016, and Vancouver's Next Drag Superstar in 2018. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was performing in drag 2 to 3 times a week, sometimes as part of the group Brat Pack. Synthia Kiss is the stage name of Daniel Finlan, a Canadian drag performer most known for competing on season 2 of '' Canada's Drag Race''. A roast is a form of humor in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to jokes at their expense, intended to amuse the event's wider audience. Such events are intended to honor a specific individual in a unique way. In addition to jokes and insult comedy, such events may also involve genuine praise and tributes. The implication is that the roastee is able to take the jokes in good humor and not as serious criticism or insult. The individual is surrounded by friends, fans, and well-wishers, who can receive some of the same treatment as well during the course of the evening. The party and presentation itself are both referred to as a ''roast''. The host of the event is called the roastmaster, a pun on toastmaster.
