Ken Webster (director)
Ken Webster (born July 29, 1957 in Port Arthur, Texas) is an American director and actor. He is the artistic director of Hyde Park Theatre in Austin, Texas. He has been nominated for 47 B. Iden Payne Awards and 24 Critics' Table Awards for acting, directing, and producing. He has received fourteen B. Iden Payne Awards, including a 2008 award for directing ''Dog Sees God'' and a 2007 award for directing ''The Pillowman'', a 2004 award for directing The Drawer Boy and a 2003 award for directing ''Quake'' at HPT. He also won the 2012 Critics' Table Award for Outstanding Direction for "The Aliens", 2007 Critics' Table Award for Outstanding Lead Acting for "St. Nicholas" and "Thom Pain (based on nothing)", and a 2003 Austin Critics’ Table award for directing ''Something Someone Someplace Else'' and '' Marion Bridge'' for HPT, and was awarded the 1999 Critics’ Table John Bustin Award for "conspicuous achievement." Captain Harlock
is a fictional character and protagonist of the ''Space Pirate Captain Harlock'' manga series created by Leiji Matsumoto. Harlock is the archetypical Romantic hero, a space pirate with an individualist philosophy of life. He is as noble as he is taciturn, rebellious, stoically fighting against totalitarian regimes, whether they be Earth-born or alien. In his own words, he "fight for no one's sake... only for something deep in isheart." He does not fear death, and is sometimes seen wearing clothing with the number 42 on it. In Japanese culture, the number 42 is associated with death (the numbers, pronounced separately as "four two," sound like the word "shini"—meaning "dying/death"). Wildcat (DC Comics)
Wildcat is the name of several fictional characters, all DC Comics superheroes, the first and most famous being Theodore "Ted" Grant, a long-time member of the Justice Society of America (JSA). A world-class heavyweight boxer, Grant became entangled inadvertently in the criminal underworld and developed a costumed identity to clear his name. Other characters have taken Grant's name and identity, including his goddaughter Yolanda Montez, who served as a temporary replacement for him, and his son Thomas "Tom" Bronson, a metahuman werecat who is tutored by him as a second Wildcat and a JSA member in late-2000s stories. James W. "Jim" Gordon, Sr. is a fictional Character (arts), character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, most commonly in association with the superhero Batman. Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane as an ally of Batman, the character debuted in the first panel of ''Detective Comics'' #27 (May 1939), Batman's first appearance, making him the first List of Batman supporting characters, Batman supporting character ever to be introduced, eventually succeeding him as Batman from 2015 to 2016.
