Ken Toyoda (in Japanese: 豊田兼; born 15 October 2002) is a Japanese track and field athlete. His father is French and mother is Japanese. He is studying in Keio University. The FISU World University Games, formerly the Universiade, is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The former name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and " Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students. The 2021 Summer Universiade ( zh, 2021年夏季世界大学生运动会), the XXXI Summer World University Games, commonly known as the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, is a multi-sport event sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), scheduled to be held from 28 July to 8 August 2023 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. These will be the third edition of the Games to be hosted by China, and the second edition to be branded under the "World University Games" title rather than "Universiade". The Games were originally scheduled from 16—27 August 2021.
