Ken Montgomery
Ken Montgomery (born 5 January 1951) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for North Melbourne in the VFL. A reliable half back flanker, with an unusual kicking style, Montgomery was a winning premiership player with North Melbourne in 1977, having missed out on their finals matches for the previous two years. He won the 1972 Syd Barker Medal for the club's best and fairest player and also represented Victoria in 1978. Montgomery's father, grandfather and cousin also represented the North Melbourne Football Club. Ken Montgomery was one of the youngest players to play a senior game with North Melbourne, when in 1968 he played when he was 16 years old. In later years he was in an administrative role at the club. Pascoe Vale Football Club
The Pascoe Vale Sports Club is an Australian rules football club 11 km north-west of Melbourne in the suburb of Pascoe Vale. The club is affiliated with the Essendon District Football League. History The club was founded in 1918 and moved to its current location at Raeburn Reserve in 1925. Echuca ( ) is a town on the banks of the Murray River and Campaspe River in Victoria, Australia. The border town of Moama is adjacent on the northern side of the Murray River in New South Wales. Echuca is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Shire of Campaspe. The Essendon District Football League (EDFL) is a professional Australian rules football league competition based in Essendon, Victoria, consisting of teams based in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1930, the men's competition consists of three leagues: Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, with 10 clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 nine in Division 2. Promotion and relegation between these divisions occurs, with the lowest-placed clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 being relegated at the end of each season. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. The men's team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), and the women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW). The Kangaroos also field a reserves men's team in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
