Ken Bone (basketball)
Kenneth Walter Bone (born May 21, 1958) is an American basketball coach, currently the associate head coach at Pepperdine University. Coaching career Born in Seattle, Bone attended Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington. His father Walt was a high school basketball coach. Ken Bone played junior college basketball at Shoreline Community College and Edmonds Community College before transferring to Seattle Pacific University in 1980 and playing there as a reserve guard for two years. Bone graduated from Seattle Pacific in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and later completed a master's in athletic administration from the same university in 1993. Bone was an assistant coach at Shorecrest High School and Cal State Stanislaus before returning to Seattle Pacific as an assistant coach in 1986, becoming head coach in 1990. Washington State Cougars Men's Basketball
The Washington State Cougars men's basketball team represents Washington State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12) of NCAA Division I. The Cougars play their home games on campus in Pullman at Beasley Coliseum, which has a capacity of 12,058. They are currently led by head coach Kyle Smith (55-46). College Basketball Invitational
The College Basketball Invitational (CBI) is a men's college basketball tournament created in 2007 by The Gazelle Group. The inaugural tournament occurred after the conclusion of the 2007–08 men's college basketball regular season. The CBI selects 16 teams that are not selected for the NCAA Tournament or the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), and who are willing to pay a $50,000 entry fee to participate. In the CBI, prior to 2020 teams competed on home courts. After the post-COVID pandemic revival, the tournament has been staged at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The CBI is a single-elimination tournament. Prior to 2020, the tournament was single elimination until the final two teams were determined, after which the championship was determined by a championship series with a best-two-out-of-three format. Lorenzo Romar
Lorenzo Romar (born November 13, 1958) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is the head men's basketball coach at Pepperdine University, a position he held from 1996 to 1999 and resumed in 2018. Romar also served as the head men's basketball coach at Saint Louis University from 1999 to 2002 and the University of Washington from 2002 to 2017. Playing career Romar played college basketball at Cerritos College from 1976–78 and then for Washington from 1978 to 1980.
