Ken Beck (American Football)
Kenneth Lee Beck (September 3, 1935 – March 5, 2006), was a defensive tackle in the National Football League. Beck played two seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of the Eastern and Western Conferences (NFL) 1933–69, Western Division Champion Packers in 1960. Beck was chosen by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1961 Expansion Draft, but was released by team at the end of training camp. He played for the Canadian Football League Toronto Argos from 1961 to 1962 under Coach Lou Agassi. Beck was one of only two men to have played for both Bear Bryant and Vince Lombardi. Texas Aggie
Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "wikt:aggie#Etymology 2, Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. The teams are also referred to as "A&M" or "Texas Aggies," and the official school colors are Maroon (color), maroon and white. The mascot is a rough collie named Reveille (dog), Reveille. The sports teams compete in NCAA Division I, Division I of the NCAA. Until the dissolution of the Southwest Conference, Texas A&M was a charter member of that conference. The Aggies became members of the Big 12 Conference with its subsequent formation in 1996. On July 1, 2012, they left the Big 12 Conference and joined the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
