Kemal Dinçer (born 2 September 1963) is a former Turkish professional basketball player. He played for the Turkey national basketball team. Çukurova Sanayi
Çukurova () or the Cilician Plain (''Cilicia Pedias'' in antiquity), is a large fertile plain in the Cilicia region of southern Turkey. The plain covers the easternmost areas of Mersin Province, southern and central Adana Province, western Osmaniye Province and northwestern Hatay Province. Etymology ''Çukurova'' is a portmanteau of the Turkish words "hollow, depression" and "plains". The oldest recorded use of the name in Turkish can be traced back to Aşıkpaşazade's late 15th century work '. The area has also been recorded by an Ottoman ledger dated to 1530 as ''Zulkadriye''. Turkey National Basketball Team
The Turkey men's national basketball team ( tr, Türkiye Millî Basketbol Takımı) represents Turkey in international basketball tournaments. They are governed by the Turkish Basketball Federation. Their nickname is the ''12 Dev Adam'', meaning 12 Giant Men. Turkey has competed at every major international basketball tournament. Their greatest achievements are winning two silver medals on home soil at the EuroBasket ( 2001), and FIBA World Cup ( 2010) respectively. Turkey has also won two gold (1987, 2013), one silver ( 1971), and three bronze (1967, 1983, 2009) medals at the Mediterranean Games. They also won the gold medal at the 1981 Balkan Championship. Çukurova Sanayi (''English: Çukurova Industry'') was a professional basketball club that was based in Tarsus, Mersin, Turkey. History Çukurova Sanayi was founded in 1978 as Tarsus Schweppes Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü. At the end of the 1991-92 season Çukurova Sanayi has withdrawn from the league due to financial reasons. During playing in Basketball Super League, Çukurova Sanayi lost the final matches they played with Eczacıbaşı for two seasons. Çukurova Sanayi won Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup by defeating Eczacıbaşı, whom they had been defeated twice in the Basketball Super League finals, in 1989 Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup final.
