Kelsey Mooney
Kelsey Thomas Mooney (born 5 February 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Accrington Stanley. Career Mooney began his career with Aston Villa, turning professional in February 2017. He moved on loan to Cheltenham Town in August 2018. He made his debut on 1 September 2018, in the English Football League, scoring his first goal a week later. He left Aston Villa at the end of the 2018–19 season, signing for Hereford in October 2019. In March 2020 he said that he hoped his partnership with new teammate Lenell John-Lewis would allow him to score more goals, and for the team to win more games. In July 2020 it was reported that Mooney had accepted an offer to return to a club in the Football League, although Hereford manager Josh Gowling wanted him to stay at the club. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The Premier League Cup is an English football competition run by the Premier League for under–21 sides. History The competition was created in 2013 as the U21 Premier League Cup, an U21 equivalent of the FA Youth Cup (an U18 competition competed for since 1952), albeit being run by the Premier League instead of The FA. In 2016 the age range of the competition was raised to Under-23s, and the competition was renamed as simply the Premier League Cup. 2021–22 National League
The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the nineteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. Due to the curtailment of the preceding season for North and South and lower levels of competition in the English football pyramid, promotion and relegation between levels 5 and 6, and between level 6 and lower levels were suspended. These, combined with the folding of Macclesfield Town in 2020–21 and the knock-on effects of Bury's collapse in 2019–20, meant that for the 2021–22 season the three divisions had the irregular complement of 23, 22 and 21 teams, respectively. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The National League North, formerly Conference North, is a division of the National League in England, immediately below the National League division.
