Kellyn Kai Perry-Acosta (born July 24, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and the United States national team. Early life Acosta was raised in Plano, Texas. His father is Japanese American while his mother is African American. Acosta's paternal grandmother is Japanese, and the surname Acosta comes from his Mexican paternal step-father. Plano was an overwhelmingly white city when he was growing up. ''Defender of the Crown'' is a strategy computer game designed by Kellyn Beck. It was Cinemaware's first game, and was originally released for the Commodore Amiga in 1986, setting a new standard for graphic quality in home computer games. In 1987 it was ported to the Commodore 64, Atari ST, MS-DOS, and Macintosh. It was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Amstrad CPC, Apple IIGS, CDTV, CD-i, Atari Jaguar and Intellivision. An unofficial ZX Spectrum port was also produced. A sequel, ''Defender of the Crown II'', was released in 1993 for the CDTV and Amiga CD32. Two remakes have been released: '' Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown'' in 2003 and ''Defender of the Crown: Heroes Live Forever'' in 2007. Kellyn George is from Dominica and in 2013 created a support foundation to help people with sickle cell anemia in her homeland. In 2015, she was awarded Queen's Young Leader Award for her activism in changing the lives of people in her community. Biography Kellyn George is a Dominican from the village of Mahaut. In 2006 she earned a double associate degree from Dominica State College in chemistry and biology and went on to study at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, from 2006 to 2008. Kellyn Marie Tate (born October 16, 1975) is an American softball coach and former outfielder. She has been the head softball coach at University of Puget Sound since 2012. She previously held coaching positions at Portland State, Miami (Ohio), Texas Tech, and Penn State. Tate played college softball at the University of Michigan where she was a first-team All-Big Ten Conference player each year from 1996 to 1998. Her career batting average of .357 is the fourth highest in Michigan history. She later played professional softball for the Orlando Wahoos (1998), Akron Racers (1999-2000), WPSL All-Stars (2001), and California Sunbirds (2004).
