Kelly Reno
Kelly Reno (born June 19, 1966) is a former child actor, rancher, and trucker. At age 11, he was cast in the role of Alec Ramsey, the young boy who is marooned on a deserted island along with an Arabian horse, in ''The Black Stallion'' (based on the novel by Walter Farley). Early life, family and education Reno was born in Pueblo, Colorado. His parents, Bud and Ruth, were cattle ranchers. He graduated from high school in 1984. Career After responding to an open casting call, he was cast at age 13 as the main character, Alec Ramsey, in ''The Black Stallion''. Directed by Carroll Ballard and co-starring Mickey Rooney and Teri Garr, the film was made in 1979. Reno did nearly all of his own action scenes in the movie. He reprised the role in the 1983 film adaptation of Farley's ''The Black Stallion Returns'' much of which was filmed in Morocco. The Black Stallion Returns
''The Black Stallion Returns'' is a 1983 film adaptation of the book of the same name by Walter Farley, and is a sequel to ''The Black Stallion''. It is the only film directed by Robert Dalva. It was produced by Francis Ford Coppola for MGM/UA Entertainment Company. The film stars Kelly Reno, Vincent Spano and Teri Garr. The portrayal of The Black was shared between Cass Ole, the horse from ''The Black Stallion'', and El Mokhtar. A semi-trailer is a trailer without a front axle. In the United States, the term is also used to refer to the combination of a truck and a semi-trailer; a tractor-trailer. A large proportion of a semi-trailer's weight is supported by a tractor unit, or a detachable front-axle assembly known as a dolly, or the tail of another trailer. The other portion of the semi-trailer's weight is semi-supported (half-supported) by its own wheels, which only support the rear of the semi-trailer. A semi-trailer is normally equipped with landing gear (legs which can be lowered) to support it when it is uncoupled. Many semi-trailers have wheels that are capable of being totally dismounted and are also relocatable (repositionable) to better distribute load to bearing wheel weight factors. ''Amazing Stories'' is an American anthology television series created by Steven Spielberg, that originally ran on NBC in the United States from September 29, 1985 to April 10, 1987. The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 – March 6, 1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna reclaimed the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas, United States), killing most of the occupants inside.
