Kelly represented Wales at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and only just missed out on a bronze medal losing out to South Africa in the bronze medal play off in the Women's triples with Kathy Pearce and Lisa Forey. Bowls, also known as lawn bowls or lawn bowling, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". Judith Wason is a Welsh international lawn bowler . Bowls career She was first capped by Wales in 1991 and in 1995 she won the triples silver medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. She won a bronze medal in the triples at the 1996 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Leamington Spa with Ann Sutherland and Betty Morgan. She also competed in the Commonwealth games during 1998. Katharine Anne Pearce (born 16 February 1963) is a Welsh international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Pearce from Berriew, Welshpool won the triples gold medal and fours silver medal at the 1997 Atlantic Bowls Championships In Llandrindod wells. In 2004 she won a bronze medal at the 2004 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in the fours and in 2007 won the triples silver medal at the Atlantic Championships. The 2013 World Indoor Bowls Championship was held at Potters Leisure Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth, England, in January 2013. The event was sponsored by Fred.
