Kellie Martin (born October 16, 1975) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Rebecca "Becca" Thatcher in ''Life Goes On (TV series), Life Goes On'' (1989–1993), Lucy Knight on ''ER (TV series), ER'' (1998–2000), Samantha Kinsey in the ''Mystery Woman'' TV film series (2003–2007), and as Hailey Dean in the ''Hailey Dean Mystery'' TV film series (2016–2019). Early life Martin began her acting career at age seven, when her aunt who was a nanny for actor Michael Landon's children helped her land a guest spot on the Landon-produced series ''Father Murphy''. Shelley Lee Long (born August 23, 1949) is an American actress, singer, and comedian. Long portrayed Diane Chambers on the hit sitcom ''Cheers'' and received five Emmy nominations, winning in 1983 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Caroline B. Cooney (born May 10, 1947) is an American author of suspense, romance, horror, and mystery books for young adults. Biography Cooney was born in 1947 in Geneva, New York. She grew up in Old Greenwich, CT. She went to Indiana University from 1965 to 1966, then went to Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing from 1966 to 1967. She went to the University of Connecticut in 1968. She attended several colleges but didn't want to obtain a degree because of certain circumstances. She did not initially know she wanted to be a writer. Cooney's books have received several honors, including an IRA–CBC Children's Choice and being named an ALA Best Book for Young Adults.
