Kelly Dulfer
Kelly Dulfer (born 21 March 1994) is a Dutch handball player for Borussia Dortmund and the Dutch national team. Career She competed for the national team in the 2013 Møbelringen Cup in Norway. She represented the Netherlands at the 2013 World Women's Handball Championship in Serbia, where she was selected to play the position of centre back on the Dutch team. She made her World Championship debut in the opening match against the Dominican Republic, and scored one goal in the game, which was won 44–21 by the "Oranje" team. In 2012, she played at the Women's Youth World Handball Championship in Montenegro, where the Dutch team placed tenth. Dulfer is the daughter of the Dutch international cricketers Eric Dulfer and Ingrid Keijzer. Schiedam
Schiedam () is a city and municipality in the west of the Netherlands. It is located in the Rotterdam–The Hague metropolitan area, west of Rotterdam, east of Vlaardingen, and south of Delft. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. The Danish Women's Handball League ( da, Damehåndboldligaen) is the top professional league for Denmark, Danish women's Team handball, handball clubs. World Women's Handball Championship
The IHF Women's Handball World Championship has been organized by the International Handball Federation since 1957. European teams have won every time except 1995 where South Korea won as the first team outside Europe and 2013 where Brazil won as the first American team. The biggest winners are Russia and Norway with four titles each. Nine teams participated in the first championship, this number has grown in steps to 32 (from 2021). In 1977 a B-tournament was introduced and later in 1986 a C-tournament which served as qualification for the real championship or A-tournament. Ingrid Keijzer (married name Dulfer-Keijzer; born 22 July 1964) is a former Dutch sportswoman who played both handball and cricket at international level. She represented the Netherlands women's national cricket team between 1983 and 1993, including as captain between 1989 and 1990. She played as a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps.
