Jacob Kelley House
Jacob Kelley House is a historic home located near Hartsville, Darlington County, South Carolina. The original one-story, log portion of the house predates 1830. The home was enlarged, weatherboarded, and a second story added about 1830–1840. It was later doubled with the addition of a two-story annex. It was the home of Jacob Kelley (1780-1874), prominent early settler and founder of the small agricultural community, Kelley Town. Its military significance stems from its use as headquarters for the Union troops of Gen. John E. Smith, Commander of the 3rd Division, 15th Army Corps, in March 1865. From this location the Federal troops commandeered the nearby Kelley Mills, ransacking and laying waste to the surrounding area. Barney Kelley House
The Barney Kelley House is a historic residence in Washington Court House, Ohio, United States. Built amid a period of commercial prosperity for the city, it was home to some of the area's leading businessmen for many decades. Born in 1834 in Ireland, Barney Kelley immigrated to the United States and moved to Washington Court House in the 1860s. At this time, the city was growing rapidly due to improved transportation: multiple railroads served the city, making it a fine site for commerce. The Mercelia Evelyn Eldridge Kelley House is a historic house at 2610 Main Street in Chatham, Massachusetts. The -story wood-frame house was built in 1877 and has vernacular Italianate styling. It is significant for its association with the Eldridge family, who were major landowners in South Chatham and promoted its development. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Description and history The Kelley House is on the north side of Main Street (Massachusetts Route 28) in the village of South Chatham, just east of its junction with Morton Road. It is a -story wood-frame house with a front-gable roof, wooden clapboard siding, and a brick foundation. The main facade is three bays wide, with its main entrance in the leftmost bay, and the right two bays on the first floor taken up by a bay window.
