Keklik Yücel
Keklik Demir-Yücel (born 5 May 1968) is a Dutch politician of Turkish descent and former civil servant. As a member of the Labour Party (Partij van de Arbeid) she was an MP between 20 September 2012 and 23 March 2017. She focused on matters of emancipation, employment and (international) social work. Previously she was an MP in 2010, replacing Chantal Gill'ard. Till 2010, she worked for the local government in Deventer. The House of Representatives (, pronounced ; commonly referred to as the ', literally "Second Chamber of the States General") is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of the Netherlands, the States General, the other one being the Senate. It has 150 seats, which are filled through elections using party-list proportional representation. Generally, the house is located in the Binnenhof in The Hague, however, it has temporarily moved to the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Bezuidenhoutseweg 67 in the Hague while the Binnenhof is being renovated.
