Keith Russell (politician)
Keith Russell is a Canadian politician in Newfoundland and Labrador and former Minister of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs. He was elected to the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly in the 2011 provincial election. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador, he represented the Labrador district of Lake Melville until his 2015 election defeat. Before entering provincial politics Russell was an Ordinary Member for Upper Lake Melville in the Nunatsiavut Government. Keith Russell (bishop)
(John) Keith Russell (14 August 1916 – 1 September 1979) was a British Anglican bishop in Uganda. Russell was educated at Shrewsbury School; Christ's College, Cambridge; and Ridley Hall, Cambridge. He was ordained deacon in 1940 and priest in 1941. After a curacy in Southampton he was a lecturer at Buwalasi College, Uganda from 1946 to 1948; and Rural Dean of Masaba from 1948 to 1952. Russell was education secretary for the Mbale archdeaconry from 1948 to 1955; and Assistant Bishop on the Upper Nile from 1955 to 1960. He was the Bishop of Northern Uganda from 1961 to 1964. Keith Russell (ornithologist)
Keith Russell is an American ornithologist, birder, science communicator, and conservationist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a leading advocate of bird-safe glass and other methods for reducing mortality of migrating songbirds in urban environments. He is currently the program manager for urban conservation for Pennsylvania Audubon. Russell grew up in Mount Airy, a neighborhood in northwest Philadelphia, and graduated from Germantown Friends School in 1973. He attended Cornell University and graduated with a B.S. in biology in 1978. He earned an M.Sc. in zoology from Clemson University in 1981. Russell worked as collections manager for the Exhibits Department at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia from 1982 to 1992. He was the assistant editor for the landmark publication ''The Birds of North America'' (1992–2003), edited by Frank Gill.
