Keith Neale
Keith Ian Neale (born 19 January 1935) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League for Birmingham City and Lincoln City. He played as an inside forward. Career Neale was born in the Yardley district of Birmingham. He played in the Birmingham Works League for the Metropolitan works team before joining Birmingham City, initially as an amateur, in August 1953. He remained in the junior teams for some time before making his debut in the League Division on 10 April 1957, deputising for Gordon Astall at outside right in the local derby at home to Aston Villa, a game which Birmingham lost 2–1. He played once more that season and three times in 1957–58, standing in variously for Eddy Brown and Noel Kinsey, but the strength of Birmingham's forward line in the mid-1950s was such that Neale was only ever considered as a reserve. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. In English football, the Second City derby or Birmingham derby, is the local derby between the two major clubs in the city of Birmingham – Aston Villa and Birmingham City, first contested in 1879. Southern Football League
The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. Together with the Isthmian League and the Northern Premier League it forms levels seven and eight of the English football league system. The structure of the Southern League has changed several times since its formation in 1894, and currently there are 84 clubs which are divided into four divisions. The Central and South Divisions are at step 3 of the National League System (NLS), and are feeder divisions, mainly to the National League South but also to the National League North. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. The term is primarily used for football in England, where it is specifically used to describe all football played at levels below those of the Premier League (20 clubs) and the three divisions of the English Football League (EFL; 72 clubs). Currently, a non-League team would be any club playing in the National League or below that level. Typically, non-League clubs are either semi-professional or amateur in status, although the majority of clubs in the National League are fully professional, some of which are former EFL clubs who have suffered relegation. Noel Kinsey
Noel Kinsey (24 December 1925 – 20 May 2017) was a Welsh international footballer who played as an inside right. He won seven international caps and scored 111 goals in 444 league games in a 14-year career in the Football League. He began his career with Norwich City in 1947, helping the "Canaries" to second place in the Third Division South in 1950–51. He transferred to Birmingham City in 1953, helping the club to the Second Division title in 1954–55. He scored in the 1956 FA Cup Final, which ended in a 3–1 defeat to Manchester City. In February 1958 he was signed to Port Vale for a £5,000 fee, and helped the "Valiants" to the Fourth Division title in 1958–59. He became a player-coach at Vale Park in May 1960, before departing in April 1962. He later played for non-league sides King's Lynn and Lowestoft Town, and worked at Norwich Union Insurance.
