Alan Keith Colin Jones (born 20 April 1951) is an English former cricketer. Jones was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Solihull, Warwickshire, and was educated at Solihull School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. Keith Jones made his first-class debut for Warwickshire against Scotland at Edgbaston in 1969. His next first-class appearance came during his university studies for Oxford University against Warwickshire. He made 28 further first-class appearances for the university, the last of which came in The University Match of 1973 against Cambridge University at Lord's. In his 29 first-class appearances for the university, Jones scored 1,102 runs at an average of 21.19, with a highest score of 111 against Nottinghamshire in 1971. Keith Jones (born November 8, 1968) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He was formerly a hockey studio analyst for NBC/NBCSN. He currently works as the lead color commentator for Philadelphia Flyers games on NBC Sports Philadelphia, and the lead "Inside-the-Glass" reporter on ''TNT''. In 491 NHL games, Jones produced a total of 258 points between 1992 and 2000. Minor Hockey Keith grew up in the small town of Paris, Ontario - just outside of Brantford - hometown of Wayne Gretzky. Keith Aubrey Jones (born 14 October 1965) is an English retired professional footballer, best remembered for his time as a midfielder in the Football League with Brentford and Charlton Athletic. He also played for Southend United, Chelsea, Reading and was capped by England at youth level. He later became a youth and women's coach. Keith Jones (23 October 1928 – 25 August 2007) was a Welsh international footballer. A goalkeeper, he made 295 league appearances in a 13-year career in the Football League, and won one cap for Wales in 1949. He spent May 1946 to July 1957 at Aston Villa, and made 199 appearances in all competitions, though was usually the club's second choice goalkeeper. He was sold on to Port Vale for £3,500, and helped the "Valiants" to win the Fourth Division title in 1958–59. He moved on to Crewe Alexandra in April 1959, before leaving the club the following year. Club career Jones played for Stourport Swifts, West Bromwich Albion, and Kidderminster Harriers, before signing with Aston Villa in May 1946. Sir Keith Stephen Jones, MB BS (Hons) FRCS (Edinburgh) FRACS FRAGP (Hon) FACEM (Hon) (7 July 1911 – 2 March 2012) was an Australian general practitioner, surgeon and medical executive, who served as the 6th President of the Australian Medical Association, from 1973–1976, during the introduction of universal health care in Australia. Jones graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Sydney in 1933. He served in World War II with the 5th Field Ambulance in Papua New Guinea. He was awarded a fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in 1955. For his service to the medical profession, he was knighted in 1979. Keith Brynmor Jones (born 27 June 1944) is a retired Church of England priest. He was the Dean of Exeter from 1996 to 2004, and the Dean of York from 2004 until his retirement in 2012. Early life and education Jones was born on 27 June 1944 in Shrewsbury, England. He received his secondary education at Ludlow Grammar School in Shropshire. He studied English literature at Selwyn College, Cambridge, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1965: as per tradition, his BA was promoted to a Master of Arts (MA Cantab) degree.
