Keith Jack
Keith Jack (born 2 March 1988) is a British actor and singer. He was the runner-up on the BBC reality talent show '' Any Dream Will Do'', which offered the chance to be the next West End Joseph for the hit musical ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'' by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. He lost out to Lee Mead in the final on 9 June 2007. Early life Before his appearances on ''Any Dream Will Do'', Jack he was studying performance skills in Edinburgh and a HNC in Musical Theatre at Telford College, also in Edinburgh. Since winning the 2006 ''Chicago Rock Café Rock Idol'' contest, held in the English West Midlands, he has been a student of celebrity vocal coach Carrie Grant. Any Dream Will Do (TV Series)
''Any Dream Will Do'', is a 2007 talent show-themed television series produced by the BBC in the United Kingdom. It searched for a new, unknown lead to play Joseph in a West End revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical '' Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat''. The show was hosted by Graham Norton, who announced Lee Mead as the winner of the final public telephone vote on 9 June 2007. It was the second West-End talent show to be produced by the BBC/Andrew Lloyd Webber, after '' How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria?''. Further talent shows in the series have aired, with '' I'd Do Anything'' running in 2008 and '' Over the Rainbow'' which ran in April/May 2010. LIoyd Webber, Zoe Tyler & John Barrowman returned as panelists and Graham Norton returned to host the show. "That's Life" is a popular song written by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon and first recorded in 1963 by Marion Montgomery. The song has an uplifting message that, despite the ups and downs in life, one should not give up but keep positive, because soon one will be ''"back on top"''. The most famous version is by Frank Sinatra, released on his 1966 album of the same name. Sinatra recorded the song after hearing an earlier cover of it by O.C. Van Morrison
Sir George Ivan Morrison (born 31 August 1945), known professionally as Van Morrison, is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose recording career spans seven decades. He has won two Grammy Awards. As a teenager in the late 1950s, he played a variety of instruments such as guitar, harmonica, keyboards and saxophone for several Irish showbands, covering the popular hits of that time. Known as "Van the Man" to his fans, Morrison rose to prominence in the mid 1960s as the lead singer of the Northern Irish R&B and rock band Them. "Brown Eyed Girl" is a song by Northern Irish singer and songwriter Van Morrison. Written by Morrison and recorded in March 1967 for Bang Records owner and producer Bert Berns, it was released as a single in June of the same year on the Bang label, peaking at No. 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Wet Wet Wet are a Scottish soft rock band formed in 1982. They scored a number of hits in the UK charts and around the world in the 1980s and 1990s. "Who Am I" is a song co-written by Eg White and Lucie Silvas, performed by English singer Will Young for his third album, ''Keep On'' (2005). The track was released as a single on 24 April 2006. Songwriter Silvas based the lyrics on her then-boyfriend. She had wanted to write a song from a male perspective as opposed to her usual female perspective. "Who Am I" entered the UK Official Download Chart on 12 April 2006 due to individual album tracks being available to download. Queen (band)
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock.
