Akuma (Street Fighter)
Akuma (悪魔, Japanese for "Devil", "Demon"), known in Japan as , is a fictional character and secondary antagonist of the ''Street Fighter'' series of fighting games by Capcom. Akuma made his debut in '' Super Street Fighter II Turbo'' as a secret character and boss. In the storyline of the ''Street Fighter'' video games, he is the younger brother of Gouken, Ryu's and Ken's master. In some games, he also has an alternate version named Shin Akuma or in Japanese and Oni Akuma in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. ''Read or Die'' is an OVA based on the manga of the same name by Hideyuki Kurata. It was created by Studio Deen in early 2001 and distributed outside Japan by Manga Entertainment in 2003. The series, directed by Koji Masunari, features the main characters of the original manga such as Yomiko Readman and Joker. It is a continuation of the manga storyline, taking place a few years after the events of the manga. Story The first episode begins with a cold open, set in Washington DC, where the White House has been evacuated.
