Keith Browner
Keith Tellus Browner, Sr. (born January 24, 1962) is a former American football defensive end and outside linebacker. He is the father of Keith Browner, Jr. who was a linebacker for the Cal Golden Bears and played defensive end for the Houston Texans. College career Browner was drafted out of the University of Southern California with the 30th pick in the second round. Professional career He played in the National Football League between 1984 and 1988 for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Los Angeles Raiders, the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego Chargers and in Arena Football between 1990 and 1997. Personal His eldest brother, Ross Browner, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999 and an NFL star. Joey Matthew Browner (born May 15, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for the Minnesota Vikings from 1983 to 1991 and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1992. Browner played college football for the USC Trojans. High school career Browner attended Western Reserve High in Warren, Ohio for two years but moved for his junior and senior seasons to Atlanta, Georgia where he attended Southwest High. He was an All State defensive lineman as a junior, played basketball with future NBA forward Gerald Wilkins, and ran track and field, qualifying twice for the Ohio State meet. Ross Dean Browner (March 22, 1954 – January 4, 2022) was an American professional football player who was a defensive end for ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL), mainly for the Cincinnati Bengals.
