Keith Allen (footballer, Born 1943)
Keith Allen (born 9 November 1943) is an English former professional footballer. Career After playing youth football on his native Isle of Wight with Ryde Sports, Allen was signed by Portsmouth in 1962. He did not make a single appearance during two years at Fratton Park, and was sold in 1964 to Grimsby Town, where he made six league appearances during the 1964–65 season, scoring once. At the end of the season he moved, this time to join Stockport County, where he became a more regular fixture in the first-team, making 49 league appearances over two seasons and scoring 15 times. This improved form attracted the attention of Luton Town, who signed the 23-year-old Allen in 1967. Allen played over 150 times for Luton over three seasons, and scored 43 goals in all competitions as the club won two promotions. Keith Allen (ice Hockey)
Courtney Keith "Bingo" Allen (August 21, 1923 – February 4, 2014) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and National Hockey League (NHL) head coach and general manager. He was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He played 28 games in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings during the 1953–54 and 1954–55 seasons, though the rest of his career, which lasted from 1941 to 1957, was spent in various minor leagues. After his playing career he turned to coaching and managing, first in the minor Western Hockey League before returning to the NHL in 1967 as the first coach and general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers. He coach the Flyers' from 1967 to 1969, and stayed as manager until 1983. He was the executive vice-president of the Philadelphia Flyers, a position he held from 1980 for the rest of his life. Keith Reading Allen (27 November 1931 – 21 July 1984) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party. He was a Cabinet minister who held the Customs portfolio from 15 June 1982 to 21 July 1984. Biography He represented the Tauranga electorate in Parliament from 1972 to 1984, when he died, immediately after the 1984 election. Allen was replaced in the seat by Winston Peters. In August 1983 there had been controversy over claims by Allen that he had been attacked while walking through the city at night. It was reported he had diabetes, and some concluded he may have been hallucinating or was intoxicated. Keith D. Allen (born July 12, 1974) is an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Southwest Baptist University from 2007 to 2012, compiling a record of 27–39. His 27 wins are the most in the history of Southwest Baptist's football program, which began play in 1983. Coaching career Allen began coaching as a student coach at the University of Oklahoma under defensive coordinator Bill Young and head coach John Blake. After completing his degree in civil engineering, Allen stayed on in 1997 as the graduate assistant, working on defense.
