Keith Alexander (footballer)
Keith Alexander (14 November 1956 – 3 March 2010) was a footballer and manager. Born in Nottingham, England, he was the manager of League Two side Macclesfield Town at the time of his death, in a career that included international appearances for Saint Lucia. Alexander played for a large number of lower league football teams. His main success, however, came from football management – managing in both non-league and the Football League. He took League One side Lincoln City to four consecutive play-offs, taking them to two finals at the Millennium Stadium. His eldest son, Matthew Alexander, is a FIFA licensed Football agent and works with many top flight players. He was believed at the time of his death to have been the first full-time black professional manager in the Football League, though this was in fact Tony Collins at Rochdale in 1960. Keith Alexander (Manitoba Politician)
Arnold Keith Alexander (June 12, 1921 – December 18, 1972) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1958 to 1966. Born in Russell, Manitoba, Alexander was educated at the University of Manitoba. He served as a pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1941 to 1954. After retiring from the armed forces, he farmed in the Tummel area of Manitoba until 1969. The following year, Alexander became a United Church minister. Alexander was first elected to the Manitoba legislature in the 1958 election, defeating incumbent Liberal-Progressive Ray Mitchell by 198 votes in the constituency of Roblin. He was re-elected by a greater margin in the elections of 1959 and 1962, and did not run in 1966. He served as a backbench supporter of Dufferin Roblin's government thorough his time in office. Keith Alexander (born Keith Alexander Bonanno; November 23, 1963 – July 11, 2005) was an American guitarist and body modification enthusiast. Career Alexander was the guitarist for the thrash metal band Carnivore, on whose first album he played. He then joined Brooklyn-based band Primal Scream co-writing and recording their 1987 album ''Volume One''. During the late 1990s he was a member of Dee Snider's SMFs and part of the lineup that recorded the 1997 ''Twisted Forever – SMFs Live'' album. Alexander also worked as a talent finder, though he was technically credited as "piercing consultant" on Snider's movie 1998 movie '' Strangeland''. To save money on special effects and for a sense of reality in appearance, Alexander looked in the body modification community for extras, who were modded for some roles. Keith Alexander is an Australian actor, best known for work on British television. Alexander's television credits include '' Softly, Softly'' (1966), '' The New Avengers'' (1976), ''Minder'' (1979) and ''The Day of the Triffids'' (1981). On the big screen, he has had roles in '' Submarine X-1'' (1968), ''Superman'' (1978), '' Hanover Street'' (1979) and '' All About a Prima Ballerina'' (1980). He has also featured in some of the productions of Gerry Anderson. Keith Vivian Alexander is a New Zealand mechanical engineer and inventor. He is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, and the inventor of the springfree trampoline. Alexander began his professional life as a primary school teacher. After 4 years of teaching he returned to university to complete a degree in engineering, conducting research on an invention of his own to gain his PhD. Post graduation, Alexander worked for an engineering consultancy for a period of 6 years, in which time he led a team in developing advanced heavy presses for the New Zealand wool industry.
