Keita Ono
Keita Ono (born December 17, 1987) is a Japanese darts player. Career Ono won a Dartslive event in Hong Kong in 2012 by defeating Lourence Ilagan. He claimed the 2013 Japan Open by beating Gordon Dixon in the final. Ono attempted to qualify for the 2014 PDC World Darts Championship, but lost to eventual winner Morihiro Hashimoto in the Semi-final of the Japan Qualifying Event. Ono qualified for the 2016 PDC World Championship by winning the Japan Qualifying Event. After defeating Alex Tagarao 2–0 in the preliminary round, he lost 3–0 to 16-time world champion Phil Taylor in the first round. Edogawa, Tokyo
is a special ward located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. It takes its name from the Edo River that runs from north to south along the eastern edge of the ward. In English, it uses the name Edogawa City. The easternmost of the wards, it shares boundaries with the cities of Urayasu and Ichikawa in Chiba Prefecture (to the east) and with the wards of Katsushika (to the north), Sumida and Kōtō (to the west). Haruki Muramatsu
Haruki Muramatsu (村松 治樹; born 15 April 1977) is a Japanese darts player. Career Muramatsu qualified for the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship. He defeated Poland's Krzysztof Kciuk 4–1 in the preliminary round, but lost 3–0 to Ronnie Baxter in the first round. He qualified for his second PDC World Championship in 2012, where he beat Dennis Nilsson 4–2 in legs in the preliminary round to set up a last 64 meeting with 15-time world champion, Phil Taylor. He was beaten 0-3 but did manage to win three legs during the match, including breaking Taylor's throw twice. Taylor said after the match that Muramatsu would have "frightened any pro" with the level of his performance during the match. He moved to 94 in the PDC Order of Merit after the Championship. Boris Krčmar (born 13 September 1979) is a Croatian professional steel-tip and soft-tip darts player who currently plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He dominated soft-tip darts for over decade and won more than 400 professional soft-tip tournaments. He is a four-time IDF World Champion, nine-time EDF European Champion, eight-time EDU European Champion and FECS European Champion. He was the first Croatian player to qualify for the PDC World Darts Championship. Career Boris Krčmar is an accomplished soft-tip darts player and won the IDF World Championship in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. Raymond van Barneveld (born 20 April 1967) is a Dutch professional darts player. Nicknamed Barney, although originally known as The Man, he is one of the most successful darts players in history. Van Barneveld is a five-time World Darts Champion (four-time BDO and one-time PDC), a two-time UK Open Champion and a former winner of the Las Vegas Desert Classic, the Grand Slam of Darts and the Premier League. 2016 Tokyo Darts Masters
The 2016 Tokyo Darts Masters was the second staging of the tournament (formerly known as the Japan Darts Masters) by the Professional Darts Corporation, as a fourth entry in the 2016 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured eight Japanese players who faced eight PDC players and was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan from 6–7 July 2016. Phil Taylor was the defending champion, having won the inaugural staging of the Japan Darts Masters after defeating Peter Wright 8–7 in the final, but he lost 8–7 to James Wade in the quarter-finals. 2016 PDC World Cup Of Darts
The 2016 Betway World Cup of Darts was the sixth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place between 2–5 June 2016 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The England pairing of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis retained their title after beating the Netherlands pairing of Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld 3–2 in the final. Format The tournament remained at 32 teams this year, but unlike recent years, only the top 8 teams are seeded, with the remaining 24 teams being unseeded in the first round. Like last year, there are no groups in 2016 with the tournament being a straight knockout. First round: Best of nine legs doubles. Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English former professional darts player, widely considered the greatest darts player of all time. Nicknamed The Power, he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. In 2015, the BBC rated Taylor among the ten greatest British sportsmen of the last 35 years. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman.
