Keion Crossen
Keion Crossen (born April 17, 1996) is an American football cornerback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He played college football at Western Carolina. College career A two-sport student-athlete during his time in Cullowhee, Crossen stood out on the football field while also lending his talents to the Western Carolina track & field teams where he was the SoCon champion in the men's 100-meter dash at the 2016 outdoor championships, setting a school-record with a time of 10.33 which also qualified him for the NCAA East Preliminary. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties.
