Keelugurram
''Keelu Gurram'' () is a 1949 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler film produced and directed by Raja Saheb of Mirzapuram under the Sobhanachala Pictures banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Anjali Devi, with music composed by Ghantasala. Chitrapu Narayanamurthy, who had earlier directed all of Raja’s productions wrote the screenplay. Narayanamurthy also ghost directed most of the scenes for the Raja. Tapi Dharma Rao
Thapi Dharma Rao Naidu (1887–1973) was a Telugu writer, lyricist and social reformer. He wrote dialogues and lyrics for the films like ''Mala Pilla'', ''Drohi'', ''Thathaji'', ''Bhishma'', and ''Patni''. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for Indian Literature. He had authored many books which were the eye openers for many in the field of social sciences in India, in particular South India. His books ''Vidhi Vilasam'', many more have found a place in the annals of Indian literature. Surabhi Kamalabai
Surabhi Kamalabai (1913–1977) was an Indian actress who worked in Telugu theatre and Telugu cinema. She has the distinction of being the first Telugu actress in a talkie film with '' Bhakta Prahlada'' (1932), directed by H. M. Reddy. She played the role of Leelavathi, the wife of Hiranyakasipa. Since then she acted in about 30 films, including '' Savitri'' (1933), ''Pathala Bhairavi'' (1951), '' Malliswari'' (1951), ''Illarikam'' (1959) and ''Velugu Needalu'' (1961). She belongs to the well esteemed Surabhi drama company, in which drama is not only a livelihood but a profession and an art form. There were about 50 drama families during the 1920s to 1950s in Andhra Pradesh. They toured different places, stayed for some time and gave a series of programmes in the nearby towns. ''Balaraju'' is a 1948 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler fantasy film produced and directed by Ghantasala Balaramayya under the Pratibha Productions banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, S. Varalakshmi, and Anjali Devi with music jointly composed by Ghantasala, Galipenchala Narasimha Rao and C. R. Subbaraman. The film was recorded as an ''Industry Hit'' at the box office and was the first Telugu '' Silver Jubilee'' film. Plot The story begins in heaven; a ''Devakanya'' Mohini and a Yaksha are in love. Indra, the ruler of Suvarloka, has an interest in Mohini. His emissary Kubera, unable to separate the lovers, curses Yaksha to be born as a human. Chittajallu Krishnaveni (born 24 December 1924), often known as C. Krishnaveni or simply Krishnaveni, is an Indian Telugu language actress, producer and playback singer. Life and career Krishnaveni hails from Pangidi, West Godavari dist. AP, India. She was a drama artist before entering the film industry. Her debut was in the film ''Anasuya'' (1936) as a child artist. Her father Krishna Rao was a doctor. She moved to Chennai in 1939 as she began to get several offers to act in Telugu films. Relangi Venkata Ramayya ( 9 August 1910 – 27 November 1975), known mononymously by his surname as Relangi, was an Indian actor, comedian, and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Yakshini
''Yakshinis'' or ''yakshis'' (यक्षिणी sa, yakṣiṇī or ''yakṣī''; pi, yakkhiṇī or ''yakkhī'') are a class of female nature spirits in Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religious mythologies that are different from devas and asuras (classes of power-seeking beings), and gandharvas or apsaras (celestial nymphs). Yakshinis and their male counterparts, the yakshas, are one of the many paranormal beings associated with the centuries-old sacred groves of India.
