Kedungsepur (train)
''Kedung Sepur'' (or ''Kedungsepur'') is a commuter rail line in Central Java, Indonesia operated by Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), serving Semarang Poncol railway station, Semarang Poncol Station (in Semarang)–Ngrombo railway station, Ngrombo Station (in Grobogan Regency) route and vice versa. The service name is taken from initials of cities and regencies forming Semarang metropolitan area: Kendal Regency, Kendal, Demak Regency, Demak, Ungaran, Salatiga, Semarang, and Purwodadi, Grobogan, Purwodadi. ''Kedung Sepur'' is using Nippon Sharyo-built MCW Diesel multiple unit, DMU stock for its service. History ''Kedung Sepur'' was first operated on 28 September 2014 coincide with the anniversary of KAI, serving Weleri railway station, Weleri Station to Gubug railway station, Gubug. Kendal Regency
Kendal ( jv, ꦏꦼꦤ꧀ꦣꦭ꧀, Kendhal) is a regency in the northern part of Central Java province in Indonesia, west of Semarang. Its capital is Kendal. The regency is bordered by the Java Sea in the north, Semarang City and Semarang Regency in the east, Temanggung Regency in the south, and Batang Regency in the west. Kendal Regency was established on 28 July 1605. Kendal is also known as the City of Santri because there are thousands of Ponpes, especially in Kaliwungu District and also known as the City of Arts and Culture. , formed in 1896, is a major rolling stock manufacturer based in Nagoya, Japan. In 1996, it abbreviated its name to "日本車両" Nippon Sharyō. Its shortest abbreviation is Nissha "日車". It was a listed company on Nikkei 225 until 2004. It is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Nagoya Stock Exchange as ticker 7102. Purwodadi is a town and a district in Grobogan Regency, of which it is the administrative capital. It is located to the south east of Semarang, the capital of Central Java, Indonesia. Salatiga
Salatiga ( jv, ꦯꦭꦠꦶꦒ) is a city in Central Java province, Indonesia. It covers an area of and had a population of 192,322 at the 2020 Census.
