Kedah United FC is a Malaysian football team based in the city of Alor Setar representing the state of Kedah, Malaysia. Newly founded in 2012, the team were registered under the name of the Kedah Malays Football Association (KMFA) ( ms, Persatuan Bolasepak Melayu Kedah Darul Aman). Currently they play in third-tier of the football league system in Malaysia, the Malaysia FAM League. Kedah United play their home games at Langkawi Stadium located in Kuah, a town located in Langkawi Island. The kris, or ''keris'' in the Indonesian language, is an asymmetrical dagger with distinctive blade-patterning achieved through alternating laminations of iron and nickelous iron (''pamor''). Wan Hossen Wan Abdul Ghani
Wan Hossen bin Wan Abdul Ghani (born 8 February 1989) is a Malaysian footballer. His preferred position is as a midfielder. Career Wan Hossen Bin Wan Abd Ghani started playing football while he was in primary school in his previous school SK Mahkota Sari, Gerik. His ability were seen by his coach Cikgu Nizam. Perlis FA State Football Team ( ms, Pasukan Bola Sepak Negeri Perlis), also known as Perlis FA, is a football team based in Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia which is run and managed by the Perlis Football Association (PFA). The team was founded in 1963 and is currently suspended by FIFA from playing in the Malaysian football league. Before their suspension, the team played in the 2019 Malaysia Premier League. Marcerra Kuantan Football Association ''(Malay: Persatuan Bolasepak Daerah Kuantan)'' is a defunct Malaysian football club based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The club was established in 1970 and began competing in the local league as Kuantan FA. In early 2018, the club's right was sold to Marcerra United and they decided to rename the club as Marcerra Kuantan FA as a symbol of the club's new start. Some of the locals consider calling the club as the A.S. Roma of Malaysian Football due to the club sharing the same kit color scheme with the Serie A side . Ahmad Basri Akil
Dato' Paduka Haji Ahmad Basri bin Mohd Akil (25 April 1939 – 15 July 2008) was the former team manager for Kedah FA and for the Malaysia national football team. Biography Born in Alor Setar, he had 8 children and 11 grandchildren. He managed Kedah Football Team Kedah FA for the first time in 1986. He was considered the 'father' of football development in Kedah. He built the state team to become a force in local football culminating in their winning the Malaysia Cup in 1990 by beating Singapore 3-1 in the final. The former Kedah Football Association (KFA) Vice President was a personality who criticised FAM and was suspended for four years and had to relinquish all posts in the national association and also for any posts KFA (2001–2005).
