Keda Municipality
Keda ( ka, ქედის მუნიციპალიტეტი), ''Keda Municiṕaliťeťi'') is a municipality in Georgia's southwestern autonomous republic of Adjara with a population of 16,700 people (2021). It covers an area of and the ''daba'' ('Urban-type settlement') Keda is its administrative centre. Historical monuments in the municipality include the medieval Orthodox churches at Makhuntseti, Zesopeli, and Namonastrevi, and the bridges of Tsoniarisi and Dandalo. Geography Keda borders the municipalities of Khelvachauri to the south and west, Kobuleti to the northwest and Shuakhevi to the east. The municipality also has a 17 kilometer long border with Turkey in the south, where the Shavsheti Range forms the natural border. Meskheti Range
Meskheti Range ( ka, მესხეთის ქედი) (Meskh/Meskhet/Meskhetian Range, Adzhar-Imereti Range, Achara-Imereti Range Adzhar-Akhaltsikh Range also Moschian Mountains) is a part of the Lesser Caucasus mountain range in Meskheti region, in southwestern Georgia. Geography The length of the range is 150 km and the highest point is Mount Mepistskharo at an elevation of 2,850 m above sea level. The Meskheti Range is characterized by high amounts of precipitation. The territory around Mt. Mtirala (the Ajarian section of the range) was the wettest region within the Soviet Union and is the most humid area of the Caucasus with an annual precipitation of approximately 4500mm/year (180 inches/year). The Alliance of Patriots of Georgia ( ka, საქართველოს პატრიოტთა ალიანსი, ''Sakartvelos Patriotta Aliansi'', APG) is a political party in the republic of Georgia. Lelo for Georgia () is a centrist liberal political party in Georgia that was created at the end of 2019 by businessmen Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze. The party has attracted a number of prominent political figures and parties (through mergers), including David Usupashvili's Development Movement, the New Rights Party and Pikria Chikhradze. Georgian (, , ) is the most widely-spoken Kartvelian language, and serves as the literary language or lingua franca for speakers of related languages. It is the official language of Georgia and the native or primary language of 87.6% of its population. Its speakers today number approximately four million.
