Kearny High School (California)
Kearny High School is a public high school in San Diego, California. Kearny High School serves students in grades 9-12 from the Linda Vista, Serra Mesa and Kearny Mesa communities. The school is part of the San Diego Unified School District. Kearny's mascot is the Komet. The Kearny High Educational Complex is home to four small autonomous high schools: the School of Biomedical Science and Technology (BST), the School of College Connections (SCC), the School of Digital Media & Design (DMD), and the Stanley E. Foster School of Engineering, Design, and Innovation (EID). Each small school is focused on a college and career pathway and has developed its own educational philosophy. San Diego Mesa College
San Diego Mesa College (Mesa College or Mesa) is a public community college in Clairemont Mesa in San Diego, California. It is part of the California Community Colleges and the San Diego Community College District. It is the largest community college in the city of San Diego and the 16th largest community college in the state. Cleavon Little
Cleavon Jake Little (June 1, 1939 – October 22, 1992) was an American stage, film, and television actor. He began his career in the late 1960s on the stage. In 1970, he starred in the Broadway production of ''Purlie'', for which he earned both a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award. His first leading television role was that of the irreverent Dr. Jerry Noland on the ABC sitcom ''Temperatures Rising'' (1972–1974). While starring in the sitcom, Little appeared in what has become his signature performance, portraying Sheriff Bart in the 1974 Mel Brooks comedy film ''Blazing Saddles''. Harold Greene (journalist)
Harold Greene (born December 1, 1943), journalist, read news at KCAL 9 News and CBS 2 News in Los Angeles. Before joining the CBS duopoly, Greene enjoyed a long television news career, mostly in Southern California. Greene began his career in 1970 as a reporter and producer for KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Later in 1973, Greene was hired to help launch the news operations for KCST-TV (now KNSD) which at the time became the new ABC affiliate for San Diego. Grady Lee Fuson (born April 19, 1956) is an American professional baseball scout and executive who is a special adviser for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. Early life and education Fuson grew up in Kearny Mesa, San Diego. He attended Kearny High School. Fuson played college baseball for a junior college before transferring to the University of Puget Sound, where he finished his college career with the Puget Sound Loggers in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
