Kazys Maksvytis
Kazys Maksvytis (born 15 June 1977) is a Lithuanian professional basketball coach who is currently the head coach for Lithuania men's national basketball team and Žalgiris Kaunas. Coaching career Professional clubs From 2011 to 2012, Maksvytis was the head coach of the Lithuanian club Sakalai Vilnius. On 2012 he became the head coach of Neptūnas Klaipėda. In 2012–13 season he guided the team to Lithuanian Basketball League third place. In 2013–14 season Maksvytis won the second place in the Lithuanian Basketball League and won the right to play in the EuroLeague next season. On December 2015, did Maksvytis was appointed as the head coach for Lietkabelis Panevėžys. In the following 2016–17 season, he helped the team reach their first ever LKL finals, winning the silver medal after losing 4–1 to Žalgiris Kaunas. The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-19 World Championship) is the under-19 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Jure Zdovc
Jurij "Jure" Zdovc (born 13 December 1966) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and coach Zdovc Returning to Helm of National Team.] As a player, he was a 1.98 m (6'6") tall point guard, who began his professional playing career with the Yugoslav Second Division club Smelt Olimpija. During his playing career, he was a two-time member of the FIBA European Selection, in the years 1990 and 1991, and a FIBA EuroStar selection, in 1996. He also represented both the senior Yugoslav national team, and the senior Slovenian national team. He was inducted into the Slovenian Athletes Hall of Fame in 2015. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. The season started in September 2017, and the last game of final series was played in 18 June 2018. Žalgiris is the defending champion. Competition format During the regular season, all teams will play 36 games. The top eight teams in the regular season standings, after playing their entire 36 game schedule, will each qualify for the playoffs in the quarterfinals, that will be played in a best-of-five games format. The semifinals will also be played in that format. The final round will be played between the two winners of the semifinals. The finals series, for first place, will be played in a best-of-seven format, while the series for third place will be played in a best-of-five format.
