Kazusa Province
was a province of Japan in the area of modern Chiba Prefecture. The province was located in the middle of the Bōsō Peninsula, whose name takes its first ''kanji'' from the name of Awa Province and its second from Kazusa and Shimōsa provinces. Its abbreviated form name was or . The borders of Kazusa Province were defined by Shimōsa Province to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the east, Awa Province to the south, and Tokyo Bay to the west. Kazusa was classified as one of the provinces of the Tōkaidō. Under the ''Engishiki'' classification system, Kazusa was ranked as a "great country" (大国) and a "far country" in relation to its distance from the capital (遠国). Kazusa, Nagasaki
was a town located in Minamitakaki District, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 7,870 and a density of 322.81 persons per km². The total area was 24.38 km². On March 31, 2006, Kazusa, along with the towns of Arie, Fukae, Futsu, Kitaarima, Kuchinotsu, Minamiarima and Nishiarie (all from Minamitakaki District), was merged to create the city of Minamishimabara. Kazusa Hirotsune (上総 広常, died 1183) was a samurai lord and ''gōzoku'' in Kantō during the late Heian period. He was the head of the Bōsō Taira clan and fought against the Taira clan on Minamoto clan's side during the Genpei War. He is commonly also known as Kazusa-no-suke Hirotsune, in which "''Kazusa-no- suke''" (Vice Governor of Kazusa Province) indicates his office. Life Kazusa Hirotsune was born in Kazusa Province, the son of Taira no Tsunezumi, a local government official. As his father had raised Minamoto no Yoshitomo, Hirotsune began his service under Yoshitomo and entered the capital of Kyoto. In 1156 Hirotsune participated in the Hōgen rebellion, and after this, he mainly focused on unifying the Taira clan in Bōsō Peninsula. In 1179 as a result of the coup d'état of Taira no Kiyomori, the head of the Taira clan, Kazusa became the domain of Fujiwara no Tadakiyo, a Taira clan retainer. is a Japanese manga artist, famous for her yaoi manga. After being a doujinshi artist from 1999 to 2000, she became an official manga artist in 2001. In addition to this, she has also illustrated a number of light novels. Biography Born in Hokkaido on October 23, she began her career in 1999 as a Houshin Engi doujinshi artist as well as doing fanart from popular series like Hikaru no Go, Shaman King and Yami no Matsuei. Her works were predominantly BL-related. Finally she got her break when her first original series, Harlem Beat wa Yoake Made was serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Asuka.
