Kazmeir Allen
Kazmeir Allen (born February 29, 2000) is an American professional American football, football running back and return specialist for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins football, UCLA Bruins and signed with the Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2023. Early life Allen was born on February 29, 2000, in Tulare, California. He attended Tulare Union High School, where he set the high school scoring record as a senior in 2017 with 72 total touchdowns: 62 from rushing, nine from receptions, and one kickoff return. Allen also helped Tulare Union win the 2017 Central Section Division II championship and finished his high school career with 6,276 rushing yards, 1,603 receiving yards, and 121 total touchdowns. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive American football plays#Offensive terminology, handoffs from the quarterback to Rush (American football)#Offense, rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and Blocking (American football), block. There are usually one or two running backs on the field for a given play, depending on the offensive formation.
