Kaveh Rad ( fa, کاوه راد; born June 13, 2001) is an American professional soccer player. Early career Kaveh Rad was born and raised in North Carolina and played youth soccer for the Capital Area RailHawks Academy. He joined the Sporting Kansas City Academy with his brother Jahon Rad in 2016, scoring seven goals in 65 league appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy from 2016 to 2019 while representing Sporting at the under-15 through under-19 levels. Club career Sporting Kansas City II Rad played with USL Championship side Swope Park Rangers from their 2018 season via Sporting Kansas City's academy. On January 24, 2020, Rad signed a fully professional contract with the newly named Sporting Kansas City II. This is the first season in which the league is operating under the name "USL Championship," having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. Cyrus Rad (born July 10, 1999) is an American professional soccer player. Early career Cyrus Rad was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, playing high school soccer for Charles E. Jordan High School and youth soccer for North Carolina Fusion. College career Rad played college soccer for North Carolina State University, attending from 2017 to 2021 and being awarded ACC Academic Honor Roll honors. Children's Mercy Park is a soccer-specific stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, United States, and is the home of Sporting Kansas City. The stadium is located near Kansas Speedway, on the far west side of Wyandotte County, Kansas.
