Katta Subba Rao
Katta Subba Rao (3 January 1940 – 12 July 1988), is a film director known for directing family-oriented and social movies in the Telugu film industry. Almost all the movies which he directed during his career depict the Indian family relationships with respect to issues and romance between naughty husbands and wives, Indian marriages, sons-in-law, mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, etc. Many of the films directed by Katta Subbarao are hit movies, namely ''Srirasthu Subhamasthu'', ''Mogudu Kaavali'', ''Gadasari Atha-Sogasari Kodalu'', ''Kontemogudu - Penki Pellam'' and others. He directed the movies with popular heroes of today including N.T.R, Krishna (Telugu actor), Chiranjeevi, Shoban Babu, Chandra Mohan, Murali Mohan. Cinema Of Andhra Pradesh
Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. By 2021, it has emerged as the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Since 1909, filmmaker Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was involved in producing short films and travelling to different regions in Asia to promote film work. Krishna (Telugu Actor)
Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022), known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a film career spanning five decades, he starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu states, Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Cinema of India, Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Indian National Congress, Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest. Chiranjeevi (born Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasad; 22 August 1955) is an Indian actor, film producer and former politician, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Chandra Mohan (born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao; 23 May 1944) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu films. He has garnered one Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. Maganti Murali Mohan (born 24 June 1940) is an Indian actor, producer, politician, and business executive from Telugu cinema. In 1973, Murali Mohan debuted in ''Jagame Maya'', produced by Atluri Poornachandra Rao. He gained recognition with the 1974 film ''Tirupati'', directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.
