Katie Sheldon
Katie Sheldon (born 23 December 2003) is an Irish female professional darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Her biggest achievement to date was qualifying for inaugural 2022 Women's World Matchplay. Career Sheldon started playing darts in 2010, at the age of 7. In 2018 she won two World Darts Federation tournaments for girls, namely, the 2018 World Masters (darts), World Masters where she beat Sophie McKinlay by 4–3 in the final in deciding leg, and the German Open (darts), German Open where she beat Christina Schuler in the final. In October 2019, it was announced that Sheldon had entered into a Target (darts), Target partnership. Great results in the 2022 PDC Women's Series tournaments allowed her to qualify for the inaugural 2022 Women's World Matchplay. This was also her first senior major tournament. Fallon Sherrock (born 2 July 1994) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Born in Milton Keynes, Sherrock reached the final of the 2015 BDO Women's World Darts Championship, where she was runner-up to Lisa Ashton. In 2019, Sherrock became the first female player to win a match, and subsequently, two consecutive matches, at the PDC World Championships, first by beating Ted Evetts 3–2 in the first round, and then Mensur Suljović 3–1 in the second round, before eventually losing 2–4 to Chris Dobey in the third round. The event saw her earn the nickname "Queen of the Palace" from the name of the venue, the Alexandra Palace. During the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts, Sherrock became the first woman to reach the last 16 of a major darts tournament, after she beat Gabriel Clemens 5–3 in her final group stage match. 2022 PDC World Youth Championship
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam. Robyn Byrne (born 23 May 1997) is an Irish female professional darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Her biggest achievement to date was won the Winmau World Masters for girls, won a three gold medals in the WDF Europe Cup Youth and took silver medal in singles competition at the 2018 WDF Europe Cup. She took part in the WDF World Cup and WDF Europe Cup for several times. Career Byrne started playing darts in 2001, at the age of 3 or 4, plaguing her dad. In 2014 she won every girls competition at the 2014 WDF Europe Cup Youth, defeated Lidia Koltsova in singles competition by 4–2 in legs.
