Kate Margaret Power (also known as Energizer) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in ''Power Pack'' #1 and was created by Louise Simonson and June Brigman. Publication history Katie Power debuted as Energizer in ''Power Pack'' #1 (cover date Aug 1984), and used this superhero alter-ego between issues #1 and #25, then (after a power-swap) continued to star under the name Starstreak between issues #25 and #52, after which she took the name Counterweight for issues #52 to #62 (changing her costume in issue #47), before returning to her original codename (and costume) as Energizer in the ''Power Pack Holiday Special'' and subsequent 4-issue ''Power Pack'' miniseries published in 2000 – in the latter, she wore a different costume not previously seen. In chemistry and physics, metastability denotes an intermediate energetic state within a dynamical system other than the system's state of least energy. A ball resting in a hollow on a slope is a simple example of metastability. If the ball is only slightly pushed, it will settle back into its hollow, but a stronger push may start the ball rolling down the slope. Power Pack is a superhero team consisting of four young siblings appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Louise Simonson and artist June Brigman, they first appeared in their own series in 1984, which lasted 62 issues, and have since appeared in other books. A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) is a fictional criminal organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In most versions, it is depicted as a think tank of brilliant scientists dedicated to overthrowing the world's governments through technological means. The organization started out as a branch of HYDRA, created by Baron Strucker. Reavers (comics)
The Reavers are a fictional team of criminal cyborgs appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The most significant team of Reavers were dedicated to the destruction of the mutant X-Men, and a number of them especially wanted to take revenge on Wolverine in particular. The name Reavers was originally used by a gang of Australian cyborgs. The name later referred to a group under the leadership of Donald Pierce, consisting of the three survivors from the original Reavers along with other cyborgs. The aforementioned Reavers are different from the Reavers of the planet Arcturus IV, who exist in the future of the alternate reality Earth-691 and are involved in the histories of the Guardians of the Galaxy members Starhawk and Aleta. Lady Deathstrike (Yuriko Oyama), occasionally spelled "Deathstryke", is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is a foe of the X-Men, especially Wolverine (character), Wolverine. Her father Lord Dark Wind created the adamantium-bonding process that was forced on Wolverine by Weapon X.
