Kathy Greenwood
Kathryn Greenwood (born March 21, 1962) is a Canadian actress and comedian. She appeared on the American version of ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?'' numerous times, and played Grace Bailey on the Canadian television drama series ''Wind at My Back''. Life and career Greenwood was born in Scarborough, Ontario, and from an early age wanted to be a performer. She attended high school at Agincourt Collegiate Institute, where she performed in school plays and concerts. After graduation in 1980, Greenwood spent the next two years studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1987, she returned to Toronto, Canada, and worked in a small night club act called ''A Wedge of Night''. She then spent five years with the Toronto branch of The Second City comedy troupe as a writer and a performer - two of her shows won Dora Mavor Moore awards in 1988 and 1992. ''Switching Goals'' is a 1999 television film directed by David Steinberg and starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Plot Thirteen-year-old twin sisters Sam and Emma Stanton are opposites growing up in Evansville. Sam is a star soccer player and a tomboy; however, she wants to attract boys. Emma is a popular girly girl who enjoys fashion and make-up, but she wants to be better at sports. Their dad Jerry, one of the Soccer coaches, is pressured by his wife Denise to pick Emma for the Hurricanes co-ed team. ''Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy'' is a 1996 Canadian comedy film written by and starring the Canadian comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall. Directed by Kelly Makin and filmed in Toronto, it followed the five-season run of their television series ''The Kids in the Hall'', which had been successful in both Canada and the United States. Premise and characters The five-man team plays all of the major characters and many of the bit parts. The film was written by four of the five members of the troupe, along with Norm Hiscock; the troupe's fifth member, Dave Foley, had quit the troupe and was already working as a cast member on '' NewsRadio'', but was contractually obligated to be in the film. Written and directed by Laurie Lynd as an adaptation of Daniel MacIvor's one-man play ''House'', the film stars MacIvor as Victor, an antisocial drifter with some hints of paranoid schizophrenia, who arrives in the town of Hope Springs and invites ten strangers into the local church to watch him perform a monologue about his struggles and disappointments in life. Eugene Levy (born December 17, 1946) is a Canadian actor and comedian. From 1976 until 1984, he appeared in the Canadian television sketch comedy series '' SCTV''. ''Hollywood Squares'' (originally ''The Hollywood Squares'') is an American game show in which two contestants compete in a game of tic-tac-toe to win cash and prizes. The show piloted on NBC in 1965 and the regular series debuted in 1966 on the same network.
