Kathy Fedorjaka
Kathaleen "Kathy" Fedorjaka (born October 16, 1968) was the head women's basketball coach at Bucknell University. In 15 seasons at Bucknell, she posted a 209–211 record. She owns an overall 276–249 record. She also coached at Connecticut College and Bloomsburg. In 2003, she led Bucknell to its first ever NCAA tournament appearance, after a 21–10 mark. In 1998, she was named the Patriot League Coach of the Year. Kathy Fedorjaka has also led her team to the NCAA's again in 2008 but losing to the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Patriot League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern United States. The 2008 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament involved 64 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the 2007–08 national champion of women's NCAA Division I college basketball. The 2007 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) was a single-elimination tournament of 48 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate in the 2007 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. The teams were deemed the "best of the rest" from the 31 Division I conferences were joined by 17 at-large selections. The Bucknell Bison women's basketball team is the college basketball program representing Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The Bison currently participate as part of the NCAA Division I basketball, and compete in the Patriot League. The Bison currently play their home games at the Sojka Pavilion.
