Kathleen Weil
Kathleen Weil is a Canadians, Canadian politician and lawyer. Weil was elected to represent the riding of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (provincial electoral district), Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2008 Quebec general election, 2008 provincial election. She is a member of the Quebec Liberal Party and a former provincial cabinet minister. Weil studied at McGill University and received a bachelor's degree in history and political sciences in 1978 and a degree in civil and common law in 1982 before being admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 1983. She served as an official with Alliance Quebec. In addition to her law practice, she was heavily involved from 2000 in the health and social services sector, being an administrative member for the Montreal Children's Hospital and the ''Régie régionale des services de la santé et des services sociaux à Montréal''. Simon Jolin-Barrette is a Canadian lawyer and politician in Quebec, Jolin-Barrette (born 1987) was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2014 Quebec election. He represents the riding of Borduas as a member of the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ). Political career Jolin-Barrette was part of a group of 40 young entrepreneurs who joined the CAQ at the time of the party's founding in 2011. He ran as the CAQ candidate in Marie-Victorin in the 2012 Quebec election, coming in second to Bernard Drainville of the Parti Québécois (PQ). In the 2014 election, Jolin-Barrette defeated the PQ candidate in Borduas, Pierre Duchesne (the then Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology), by 99 votes. Diane De Courcy
Diane De Courcy is a Canadian politician. She was a Parti Québécois member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Crémazie from 2012 to 2014, first elected in the 2012 election. Prior to entering the National Assembly, De Courcy was funding President of the Commission scolaire de Montreal for the Mouvement pour une école moderne et ouverte. Following the 2012 election, De Courcy immediately entered Cabinet as Minister of Immigration and Cultural Communities and, most importantly, Minister Responsible for the Charter of the French Language. Yolande James (born November 21, 1977 in Montreal, Quebec) is a former Quebec provincial politician. She was the first black female MNA and the youngest, as well as the first black cabinet minister in Quebec history. A member of the Quebec Liberal Party, she represented the multicultural riding of Nelligan in the Island of Montreal from 2004 to 2014.
